Paul Edmonds

Paul retired from National Semiconductor  in 2010 as Vice President and Managing Director of the 200mm fab in South Portland, Maine.

Offering over 39 years of experience in wafer fab management, construction and technology transfer roles, Paul now offers consulting services in all aspects of wafer fab construction and start-up, project management , performance, benchmarking, competitiveness and upgrades.

Paul’s semiconductor career began with Fairchild Semiconductor  in South Portland in 1971 as a Production Supervisor and he successfully progressed in roles as Process Engineer, Manufacturing Manager ( 150mm fab ) , Project Manager for a 150mm greenfield facility and ultimately as Operations Manager.

His expertise includes process engineering in wafer fabrication, operations management in both front end and Assembly & Test. His career experience includes wafer fab construction and start-up of 150mm and 200mm fabs as well as technology transfers fab-to-fab and with external foundries.

While at NSC Paul managed their Trusted Foundry business supplying integrated circuits to various government agencies.

Paul holds an AAS degree in Applied Sciences, a BS in Business Management and an MBA from Stanford University

He and his family reside in Sanford, Maine.
