Loren Sutherland

Loren offers over 30 years of compelling experience and success in the sales/ business development, marketing and senior management of capital equipment, advanced materials and services within the semiconductor and solar sectors. His background includes extensive experience with the leading OEMS  and advanced electronic materials suppliers as well as IP start-ups.

Loren graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, CA in 1971 as both an Honors Graduate and Distinguished Military Graduate. He served two years in the active Army ( to include assignment as Escort Officer for General Officers and Aides to the Secretary of The Army ) and  17 years as a Reservist.

Loren is a well-known, respected and recognized semiconductor supply-side executive. He maintains a high visibility  as a leader of many industry activities and programs that include the creation and/or management of several key SEMI executive programs and supplier sponsored technical conferences and symposiums

A former multiple Chairman of the SEMI Executive Sales & Marketing Executive Council, as well as co-founder of the SEMI Executive Business Conference, he is proud to claim membership as a Member Emeritus of the Advisory Council on the College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Oregon.

Loren is also proud to have served on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army Silicon Valley ….and remains a committed Red Kettle Bell Ringer

He resides in San Mateo and enjoys his proximity to the Coast as well as The CA wine country
