Most recently Managing Director for National Semiconductor (now Texas Instruments ) Dave’s career has been classic accomplished and dedicated senior-level executive with P&L and leadership responsibilities, primarily in the Defense and Intelligence communities.
At National Semiconductor his role required overall program management and P&L responsibility for the company’s DoD Government Contracts Business unit, focusing on microelectronics/semiconductor manufacturing services (primarily at the Fort Meade, Maryland site). In this capacity he also was tasked with directing National Semiconductor’s role within the government’s prestigious Trusted Foundry business, business development and Government Affairs activities. Previously, as Director of Finance for National Semiconductor, he was responsible for all financial aspects for the DoD Government Contracts Business.
Dave earned his BS in Business Administration from Penn State University, his MBA from Drexel University, and has completed extensive Executive Education programs at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton School), the Stanford Business School and the Harvard Business School. He is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).
Prior to joining National Semiconductor, Dave served as Director of Finance for ARMILLAIRE Technologies Inc, a next-generation telecommunications equipment start-up company. He was also a Finance Manager for UNISYS Corporation where he was primarily responsible for supporting the company’s $100M multi-year quality assurance contract with NASA.
